The guesthouse enjoys a prime location in the hamlet of Plummers Plain at the edge of the village of Lower Beeding, near Horsham, West Sussex. We are on the B2110 (formerly A279) almost opposite Holy Trinity Church, Lower Beeding.

We are about an hour from Heathrow airport, 15 minutes from Gatwick airport, 25 minutes from Brighton, 3 miles from the village of Handcross on the A23 and 4 miles from the centre of Horsham with its good rail links into London.

Approaching from The North, London or the airports, we recommend you head south on the M23 (via M25 Junction 7 as appropriate) towards Brighton. Continue past the last M23 motorway junction (J11) where the road continues as the A23. Take the next exit signed for Handcross, Nymans and Leonardslee Gardens. Proceed into Handcross village, along the High Street past The Fountain pub until you reach the Red Lion public house. Turn right and follow signs to Lower Beeding and Leonardslee Gardens. After about 2 miles you will pass The Wheatsheaf public house on the left and after a further mile you will enter Lower Beeding. Look for a bus stop on the left and we are immediately beyond it. If you reach The Plough public house, you have missed us by about 200 yards.

Approaching from Brighton and the South East Coast, we recommend you head north on the A23 towards London and Gatwick airport. About 15 miles north of Brighton take the A272 towards Cowfold. In Cowfold turn right onto the A281 towards Horsham. After 2.5 miles take a right hand turn at Leonardslee Gardens (signposted to Gatwick) and continue for a further half mile or so to The Plough public house. Proceed round the sharp right hand bend and we are about 200 yards further on the right, just before a bus stop.

If you are travelling from The South West then it is better to aim for the A272 before you reach Brighton. This could be via the A29 or A24 , for example. Once on the A272, continue West towards Cowfold. In Cowfold turn left onto the A281 towards Horsham. After 2.5 miles take a right hand turn at Leonardslee Gardens (signposted to Gatwick) and continue for a further half mile or so to The Plough public house. Proceed round the sharp right hand bend and we are about 200 yards further on the right, just before a bus stop.

From Horsham, take the A281 to Brighton. Travel for about 4 miles, passing through the villages of Mannings Heath and Monks Gate. At the Cisswood House Hotel turn left into Sandygate Lane (signposted to Gatwick). After 1/4 mile turn left at The Plough public house. We are about 200 yards further on the right, just before a bus stop.

If you are coming from some other direction, then please consult a map or phone for directions.
